The Advia IMS 800i is an integrated chemistry and immunoassay
analyzer designed for high-volume clinical laboratory testing.
Before developing the exterior form, multiple foam core study
models were built to evaluate and optimize the user workflow,
including how samples would be loaded and how reagent packs
and other consumables would be placed, accessed, and removed
during operation.
