Tangent Manufacturing: Custom Aircraft Interior Décor Fabrication
Custom refreshment center designed for an Agusta A109 helicopter. The project focused on creating a compact service unit that fit between the passenger seats. The finished unit combined upholstered side panels with a wood veneer center section, integrating cup holders, storage drawers, and a hinged upper compartment for beverage service within the limited cabin space.

Through Tangent Manufacturing, my aircraft interior décor fabrication company, I worked with aircraft interior designers to produce highly custom items that could not be sourced as standard products. The designers provided the design direction, and my role was to help translate those custom concepts into buildable parts through CAD modeling, detail drawings, material and construction review, fabrication coordination, and sourcing specialty fabricators All items had to be produced with aircraft interior requirements in mind, including applicable FAA Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) material and safety requirements.

Produced high-gloss decorative wall panels for a private aircraft interior based on the aircraft interior designer’s direction. Made from clear sheet material with a reverse-painted finish, the panels created a glossy, dimensional surface.
